Create 2D and 3D artwork inspired by Tim Flynn's "City of Progress" using found objects and various materials. Tim will begin the workshop by showing some examples of his work, discuss, the series, and explain the concept of using found objects and organic development in art. Participants will share found objects, trace them, and experiment with overlapping shapes and cutting out forms. They will create both a 2D and a 3D artwork. We will end the workshop by reflecting on the artwork created, evaluating the work, and discussing process. Tim will recap the values of using found objects, exploring shapes, and materials for futures artwork.
